voltage-restrained time overcurrent is common in generator protection and stright 50/51 is often not used. This leads to overly conservative trip times for generator breakers. It would be great if EasyPower could use the reduced voltage settings for the 51V element for faults "close" to the generator. The voltage on a faulted bus is reduced significantly and likely sufficiently to cause an appropriately set 51V element to trip the generator breaker. Can't the voltage on the faulted bus be modeled and used as an input to protection?
